Weather Report: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that Tuesday would be mostly overcast with the possibility of light rain or thunderstorms. The lowest temperature will drop to 25 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperature will reach 36 degrees Celsius. Over the following week, this weather trend is anticipated to persist. Light rain fell on Monday in Delhi, bringing the highest temperature down to 35.2 degrees Celsius and the lowest temperature up to 29 degrees. The main meteorological station in the city, Safdarjung, recorded 2.7 mm of rain, although heavier rainfall was reported at Pusa (35 mm), the Ridge (37.2 mm), and Palam (31.8 mm) observatories.

For many North Indian states, including Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Gangetic West Bengal, Rayalaseema, and Tamil Nadu, the IMD has issued a rain advisory. For the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is expected in these places. In addition, there is a chance of moderate to heavy rain in the Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, northern interior Karnataka, and portions of central Maharashtra.
The monsoon line is now moving through several significant locations, including Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan, Hisar in Haryana, Delhi, Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh, Dehri on Son in Bihar, Asansol in West Bengal, and the direction of the Bay of Bengal, according to the meteorological service. Rain is also anticipated in North Gujarat and Jharkhand due to cyclonic circulations over these areas.
For the next four to five days, areas from Rajasthan to West Bengal are predicted to have moderate to heavy rainfall. Very heavy rain is predicted in certain regions of eastern Rajasthan and Uttarakhand till July 19, while severe rain is predicted in western Uttar Pradesh on July 17 and 18.
